LESBOS, Mytilene, c.450-338 B.C., electrum hekte (2.6 grams), Bodenstedt dates 346 B.C., obv. wreathed head of Apollo to right, rev. female head (Persephone) to right, hair tied up behind, all within linear square, (cf.S.4250, Bodenstedt 95, Boston 1727, SNG Lockett 2764). Off centred on the reverse, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
