QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL 1899 - FIVE BARS - CAPE COLONY, Orange Free State, Johannesburg, Diamond Hill, Belfast. 264 Pte. D.C. Akins Vic: Mtd: Rifles. Impressed. Very fine.

Together with a silver cigarette case inscribed "D.C.A." and a Holy Bible with the inscription "20.12.1899 to Corporal Bugler Donald Akins from the Stawell Wesleyan S.S. on his leaving with the Victorian Contingent for the war in S. Africa/Minister A.H. Phillips" also with the address of "A. Akins/29 Rodney St/Georgetown".
