EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy VIII Euergetes, (145-116 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, Alexandria mint, struck year 32 = 139-138 B.C., (14.024 grams), obv. head of Ptolemy to right with aegis, rev. eagle to left on thunderbolt with closed wings, to left L**LB*, to right **PA*, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU**, (cf.S.7908, Sv.1505, SNG Cop.-, BMC 42 and 60). Very fine or better and very scarce.
