GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 68, (19.55 grams), obv. laureate bust of Galba to left, around SER GALBA IMP CAES AVG, rev. in oak wreath in three lines, SPQR / OB / CIV SER, (cf.S.2125 [£750 VF], RIC 269, Kraay 278). Tiber patina, somewhat pitted surfaces, otherwise very fine and very scarce.

Ex Noble Numismatics Auction Sale 79 (lot 3601) and previously from the Charles E. Weber Collection with his ticket and that from Platz March 16, 1981.
