British Mission with R.Serbian Army, 1916; G.S.O. 1 54th Div. 1917; G.S.O. 1 53rd Div 1918; Acting Chief of Staff, British Forces in Egypt, 1919 (D.S.O., M.C., Serbian White Eagle 3rd Class, Order of Nile, 3rd Class, despatches 4 times); retired 1920. Publications (pseudonym Guy Cottar) Tenacity, 1927; A Key to Victory, 1940; Planning the War, 1941. Club: Army and Navy.
