AQUILIA SEVERA (SECOND WIFE OF ELAGABALUS), (A.D. 221), silver denarius, (3.296 grams), obv. draped bust of Aquilia Severa to right, around IVLIA AQVILIA SEVERA AVG, rev. Concordia standing to left sacrificing over lighted altar and holding double cornucopiae, star in right field, around CONCORDIA, (S.7679 [£330 EF], RIC 226, RSC.2, BMC 184). About as struck, with original mint bloom, good extremely fine/extremely fine and very rare in this condition.
The Reka-Devnia (Marcianopolis) Hoard contained 81,044 silver coins including only 71 coins of this empress, most however of this variety.
