TRAMWAY TOKENS AND PASSES: Brisbane Tramway, enamelled badges bearing the initials BT are oval, hexagon or round and are in various colours, offered here are combinations of yellow and blue, black and cream, black and yellow and blue and white (7); Ballarat Electric Tramways, plastic tokens (21mm) dated 1913 in pink for 1 1/2d (5) and green for 2d (4), five of the total are holed; Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways bronze token (21mm) for 1 1/2d (2); Melbourne - Brighton Bus Lines brass token (22mm) for Free Bus Ride (2); North Melbourne Electric Tramways & Lighting Co Employee's Pass in bronze (30mm) c.1920's (2) very scarce; Corporation of the City of Launceston Tram Passes issued to staff for use while on official business, second issue in brass (NH64) (3) and third issue in aluminium (NH65) (2) all numbered on reverse and all scarce particularly the brass issue. Very fine. (27)
