GERMANY. Third Reich. Uniform shoulder straps and collar patches for the Wehmacht and other disciplined services. (11). Semi- circular patch blue on white embroidered with the National Emblem. 'Deutshe Luftwaffe' armband- introduced in 1944 as an identification band for wear by German aircrew shot down over German held territory. Luftwaffe Observer's woven badge on cloth. Five varieties of the National Emblem badge worn on uniform. Generally very fine.
