ILKANIDS (MONGOLS OF PERSIA), Local Coinage, First Period, Abaqa, (A.H. 665-680) (A.D. 1265-1282), gold dinar, Tabriz mint, (4.40 grams), issued A.H. 677 (A.D. 1278-9), Uighur obverse, (A.2126.2, cf.M.1565-6 [for silver only]). Good very fine/ nearly extremely fine and rare.

Ex Iran hoard c.1965 where some 100 similar coins were present in the hoard.
