NETHERLANDS, Tournai, (besieged by the Allies), uniface silver klippe twenty Sols 1709, obv. TORNACO OBSESSO and bust left, (Mailliet CXII,14; KM.8). Toned, very fine and rare.

Ex Collections of G. C. Heyde (lot 832, Sale Part II, Geoff K. Gray, December 6-7, 1973) and previously from D. Elliott Smith (Sydney) his acquired by Heyde in 1958. Smith bought it from Tyrrells in George St. Sydney in 1945 for 20/-, lot includes tickets from collectors.
