HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 122, (23.76 grams), obv. laureate draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. P M TR P COS III around, Minerva standing to left, dropping incense on candelabrum altar and holding a spear in left hand, shield with snake at feet to right, (S.3619, RIC 611, C.1066). Almost black with attractive tone, good very fine/very fine and rare in this condition.
