Pte Cedric Roy Jack Lean, Enl.25Jul1916, Emb.08Nov1916, after training in England transferred from Larkhill to France 15Mar1917, WIA 15Apr1917 GSW right arm and back, hospitalised and RTA 11Jan1918, Disch.06Sep1918. Listed on Cobar N.S.W. Roll of Honour Board located in public area of Cobar Shire Administrative Offices and on St Paul's Anglican Church Roll of Honour Board located in the church at Barton Street, Cobar. Grandson of Cornish mining captain, Captain Thomas Lean, who established the Cobar Copper Mining Company and is recognised as one of the most significant figures in developing copper mining and the town of Cobar. Together with extensive research papers and scanned images of the two mentioned Roll of Honour Boards.
