ITALY, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (c.443-400 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm, (7.37 grams), obv. head of Athena to right wearing crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with wreath, rev. bull butting to right, **QOURIWN*, plain below, [tunny fish below in exergue], with grass as an exergual line, (cf.S.436; HN 1775, SNG Cop.1406, SNG ANS 908). Fine/good fine and rare.
