GEORGE III, Resolution and Adventure Medal (1772) uniface casting of the obverse in iron, the impression of the mounting pin in the original medal from which impression was taken shows (44mm, 6.8mm thick) BF on truncation (Matthew Boulton) (cf M.H.373; BHM 165). Attractive grey patina, nearly extremely fine and probably unique (see Smith p 31).
