BURMA, Pegu city coinage, (A.D. 16-18th century), tin-lead coin, octagonal shape, obv. bird surronded by two fish, appears to have gold inlay, rev. cock to right, (8.48 grams), (cf.Robinson & Shaw Chapter 6, p.35-6; cf.Mitchiner ACW p.357). Fine - very fine and very rare.
