HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), gold aureus, issued 119-122, Rome mint, (7.448 grams), obv. laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Hadrian, around IMP CAESAR TRAIA N HADRIANVS AVG, rev. P M TR P COS III around, Roma seated to left on cuirass, holding Victory and spear, shield at base, bow and quiver behind, (S.3411, RIC 77, C.1097). Full flan, red peripheral tone, nearly extremely fine or better and very rare.
