PHILIP I, (A.D. 244-249), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 245-247, (15.83 grams), obv. laureate bust of Philip I to right draped and cuirassed, around IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. around AEQVITAS AVG, S C across field, Aequitas standing to left, holding scales and cornucopiae, (S.8987, RIC 166a, cf.C.10). Dark brown patination, very fine, scarce.
