U.S.A., History of the Ninety-Seventh Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, during the War of the Rebellion 1861-65, prepared at the request of the Regiment by Isaiah Price D.D.S., Major, Ninety-Seventh PA. Vols and Brevet Colonel U.S. Vols., with biographical sketches of its field and staff officers and a complete record of each officer and enlisted man; published by the author and subscribers, Philadelphia, 1875, hardbound, (275mm x 180mm), 608pp plus errata page, illustrated with steel portrait engravings and wood cuts; hand written at front "Miss Louisa Mary Bousfield, London, England, 17th May 1878; front cover gold blocked with U.S. Congress arms above the name, Louisa Mary Bousfield. A rare personalised copy of a Civil War history record, foxing on some pages, otherwise fine and scarce.
