INDIA, East India Company, Madras Presidency, Indian Style Coinage, Hindu System, gold star pagoda, c.1740-1807, struck at Madras Mint, (3.42 grams), obv. crude half standing figure of a deity, rev. five pointed star within dotted borders, (Pr.9, KM.303). Extremely fine, scarce.
