CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Tower mint under king, silver crown, mm bell over portcullis/bell, issued 1634-5, Group III, type 3a, (29.48 grams), rev. four commas either side of mint mark, (S.2758, N.2195, Cooper XIV+/XIX, Brooker 254 [same dies]). Toned, round and attractive, reverse legend slightly double struck, otherwise very fine and rare.
