Alexandria bust right, (S.2004, Koln 172, Milne 238) (illustrated); Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-205 B.C.), AE 40, Alexandria mint, issued 221-205 B.C., (33.15 grams), obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, head to right, standing on thunderbolt holding cornucopiae on shoulder, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, between legs E, (S.7815, Sv.974, SNG Cop.224-6, Pitchfork 44-48); other Egypt (1); Seleucid AE (4); other Greek (5) including Edessa in Mesopotamia, Gordian III/Abgar X (Lindgren & Kovacs 2590) and Apamea in Seleucia and Pieria (Lindgren & Kovacs 2031).
