ANONYMOUS SERIES, (c.143 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.94 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, X behind, rev. biga of stags to right, ROMA in exergue, crescent below stags, (S.98 [ú55 VF], Cr.222/1, Syd.438, RSC 101). Grey tone, very fine/good very fine.

Ex Raoul Phillips Collection and Romanorvm September, 24, 2001 and previously from B.A. Seaby Ltd, London in 1959.
