M. LUCILIUS RUFUS, (c.101 B.C.), obverse brockage, silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.45 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, PV behind, all within laurel wreath, rev. as obverse but incuse, (S.302, Cr.324/1, Syd.599, RSC Lucilia 1). Rough surface, otherwise good very fine and rare as a brockage.
