C. ALLIUS BALA, (c.92 B.C.), silver denarii, Rome mint, (3.89 grams), obv. diademed head of female deity (Diana?) to right, BALA behind, F below chin, rev. Diana in biga of stags to right, grasshopper below, C.ALLI in exergue, (S.221 [ú55 VF], Cr.336/1c, Syd.595, RSC Aelia 4). Toned, good very fine/very fine, polished and has been mounted on reverse, scarce.
