BUGLE, shooting prize award, (242mm long) silver plated copper and brass with silver mouthpiece, with attached green lanyard, engraved on top, 'Presented to / Bugler Major Clarke / IXth Essex / The Best Shot / of / No.5 Company', and below this, 'G.F.Payne. Manufacturer / 180. Piethnal Green Rd'. Much of the plating worn off, otherwise very fine.
