GAUL, Celtic, Southern Gaul, the Allobroges in the Rhone Valley, Gallia Comata, late 1st century B.C., silver quinarius (2.14 grams) a Gallic War issue, obv. Roma helmeted head to right, rev. COMA below horseman galloping to right, (CCCBM II 241-242; De la Tour 5870). Small flan as usual, toned, very fine and scarce.
