Ex Ted Murphy Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Auction Sale 46 (lots 2144, 2145, 2146). Much of the series was overstruck on coins of Heraclius in his own reign, although the above year 20 of gamma Officina, provides an interesting overstrike on an Antioch mint issue of Tiberius II Constantine, Year 7 (580-1). The threequarter issue was extensively overstruck on folles coins of Heraclius own reign. This issue is clearly on a Sear 808 with three emperors on the obverse.
