PAIR: King's Police Medal (GVR) second type, for Distinguished Service; Coronation Medal 1937. George H.Ferguson Supt of Police Grade 1 Ceylon on first medal, C.H.Ferguson on second medal. Both medals engraved. Extremely fine and rare.

KPM LG 01Jan1936 pg 18. The King's Police Medal awarded to Superintendent Grade 1, George Hamilton Ferguson of the Ceylon Police Force, is one of only three of this particular medal awarded between 1934 and 1937 to men of the Ceylon Police Force. Together with three pages of research.
