SECOND ISSUE, proof five pounds, uniface, Wellington, 12th Septr 1865 imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, 'from this' added in pencil in Manager area (Robb.B.241b; L.402; P.S112). Tear in top margin, otherwise good very fine with remnants of glue marks on back.
