FIRST ISSUE, five pounds, Wellington, 18 Aug 1914 rubber stamped, No. A000901, imprint of Sands & McDougall Pty Ltd, Melbourne (Robb. H.141a; L.476; P.S272). Some creases and folds, light peripheral stains, corner missing top right, two minor edge tears, otherwise fine and very rare, the only known note in private hands of this variety without printed date.
