SWEDEN, Adolf Frederick (1751-1771), four dalers of plate money, 1754, obv. crowned AFRS and date 1754 partial at two corners only in circular stamps, and central stamp of 4 dalers, (KM.PM75). Very water worn, visible stamps weak, roughly square shape, otherwise very good - good fine and rare.
Ex Robb Family Collection. Ex Wreck of the Danish ship "Nichobar" wrecked off Quoin Point, Cape Town, South Africa in 1783. The lot comes with certificate prepared for the recovered plate money pieces from that wreck.
