KREUZER EMDEN, c.WWII, aluminium cigarette case (9cm x 7.5cm), embossed Kreuzer "Emden", complete with original cigarettes [a little worse for wear] with 'Kreuzer Emden' on papers, a photo of the ship inside and a hand written note 'This is a gift by a German Officer to me E.H. Addis. I visited the ship at Princes Wharf, Auckland just before the second war broke out, 1934". The case very fine, the contents toned and disintegrating.
