ST HELENA TAVERN, Rotherhithe, Refreshment Ticket for sixpence, in white metal (38mm) by W.J.Taylor (D & W 81/259; MG 760). Small corrosion spot on reverse, otherwise good very fine and very rare.

Together with letter from London Borough of Southwark Public Libraries and photo-extract from Wroth's 'Pleasure Gardens of London' which mentions the sixpence ticket and also includes a contemporary illustration of the St Helena Tavern.
