MACEDON, Uncertain (Philippi?), Augustus, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE 18, (4.25 grams), obv. bare head of Augustus to right, AVG behind, rev. two priests ploughing to right, (S.-, RPC 1656, BMC 86-88, SNG Cop. 282); Kings of Bosphoros, Sauromates I (93/4 - 123/4), copper 48 units, (10.68 grams), obv. curule chair with a wreath above, sceptre with bust of emperor and shield, rev. MH within wreath, (cf.S.5457, MacDonald 357, BMC 24 [P.60]) (illustrated). Both very fine, second scarce, both with collector's card descriptions. (2)
