EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-205 B.C.), AE 38, copper drachm, (47.01 grams), Alexandria mint, issued 246-221 B.C., obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with open wings, head to right, standing on thunderbolt, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, between legs **SE*, (S.7842, Sv. 1148, SNG Cop. 207, Pitchfork 40-42). Nearly extremely fine, rare as such and with collector's packet description.
