KYRENAIKA, Kyrene, silver tetradrachm, (400-331 B.C.), (13.27 grams), obv. Silphium plant, in field K V / P A / N A, rev. head of Zeus Ammon to right with short shaggy hair, (S.6273, cf.Mâ„¢ller 316; Weber 8475, BMC 69; McClean 9936 [Pl.375, 3]). Trace of hoard patination, cleaned with some mint bloom, extremely fine and very rare, with collector's packet description.
