ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued A.D. 219, (4.72 grams), obv. radiate bust of Elagabalus draped and cuirassed to right, around IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around P M TR P II COS II P P, Roma seated to left, holding Victory and spear, shield by side, (S.7494, RIC 12, RSC 139). Struck on a large flan, very fine, scarce.
