MAXIMINUS, (A.D. 235-238), AE sestertius, Rome mint, (26.79 grams), issued 236-238, obv. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right of Maximinus, rev. SALVS AVGVSTI, Salus seated to left feeding snake rising from altar, S C in exergue, (S.8338, RIC 85, C.92). Broad flan, good very fine - extremely fine with even dark green patina, very scarce.
