P M TR P II COS P P, with Gordian standing left sacrificing over tripod altar, (S.8637, RIC 37, RSC 210); another similar obverse, rev. AEQVITAS AVG, Aequitas standing to left, holding scales and cornucopiae, (S.8600, RIC 34, RSC 17); another similar obverse, rev. PROVIDENTIA AVG, Providentia standing to left, baton, globe at feet and cornucopiae P in PROVIDENTIA as a D (interesting error), (S.8654, cf.RIC 4, cf.RSC 302); another similar obverse, rev. VICTOR AETER, Victory standing to left resting on shield on captive and holding a palm, (S.8662, RIC 154, RSC 348); another similar obverse, rev. VIRTVS AVG, Mars standing to left, holding olive branch and spear, (S.8669, RIC 71, RSC 388). All very fine or better in holders described together with descriptive envelope. (5)
