Macedonian shield on which is an elephant's head, all within wreath, M.METELLVS Q.F. around, (S.139 [?55 VF], Cr.263/1b, Syd.480a). Very fine and scarce.
Only 44 obverse dies was used for this coinage according to Crawford.
