DOMITIAN, issued as Caesar under Titus, (A.D. 81-96), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 79, (13.604 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around CAES DIVI VESP F DOMITIAN COS VII, rev. S C across field, Spes standing to left, holding flower, (cf.S.2693 [?120 VF], RIC T168a, cf.C.459). Black patination, good very fine and rare in this condition.
