TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 98-99, (22.59 grams), obv. laureate head of Trajan to right, around IMP NERVA CAES TRAIAN AVG GERM P M, rev. Pax enthroned to left, holding olive branch and sceptre, around T R POT COS II P P, S C in exergue, (cf.S.3214 RIC 391, C.611). Fine, with heavy surface roughness.
