HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 118, Rome mint, (2.88 grams), obv. laureate bust to right of Hadrian with light drapery on far shoulder, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. P M TR P COS III around, Pax standing left holding olive branch and cornucopiae, PAX in exergue, (S.35511, RIC 44, BMC 78, RSC 1015). Very fine with attractive dark toning.
