GEORGE II, 1750, silver medal by L.Koch, 40mm, 23.3 grams, commemorating Frederick Prince of Wales as the Governor of the newly formed British Fishery Society, obv. armoured and draped bust of the prince right, rev. fishermen on the shore with nets and barrels, trawler in background, (Eimer 629; MI ii, 659/365). Scarce in silver, as struck about uncirculated.
