C. NORBANUS, (c.83 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.73 grams), obv. diademed head of Venus to right, C. NORBANVS below, CXIIII behind, rev. ear of corn, fasces and caduceus within dotted border, (S.278, Cr.357/1b, Syd.739, RSC.Norbana 2). Grey tone, off centred, otherwise very fine and scarce.
