GERMANICUS, son of Nero Claudius Drusus, brother of Claudius, (born 15 B.C., died A.D. 19), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 50-54, struck under Claudius, (11.19 grams), obv. bare head of Germanicus to right, around GERMANICVS CAESAR TI AVG F DIVI AVG N, rev. SC around, TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GERM P M TR P IMP P P (S.1905, RIC 106, BMC 215, C.9). Well centred, attractive light brown patina, very fine.
