ACARNANIA, Thyrrheion (Colony of Corinth), (350-300 B.C.), silver stater, (8.51 grams), obv. Pegasos with pointed wing flying to left, **Q* below, rev. head of Athena to left in Corinthian helmet over a leather cap, with earring and pendants, ethnic above left, winged animal rhyton to right, (cf.S.2301, BMC (pg 139) 3). Toned, good very fine and scarce.
