A.I.F. on first medal, 1412 Sgt W.R.Prosser 6/Bn. A.I.F. on second and third medals, Cpl. W.R.Prosser 54th Battn. on last medal. First three medals impressed, last medal engraved. Very fine - extremely fine.

Walter Roy Prosser, Coach Painter, born Collingwood, Victoria; served in Senior Cadets, 54Bn North Fitzroy, also 55 Infy Collingwood and 56 Infy Richmond; Enl.18Nov1914, age 20 into 6Bn as Corporal; Emb.02Feb1915; promoted to Sergeant at Gallipoli 28Apr1915; to convalescent camp 08Jul1915, diagnosed with Cardiac Disorder 17Oct1915, invalided to Australia 04Nov1915 arriving 04Dec1915; Disch.20Mar1916 as Medically Unfit; at age 23 Enl.17May1917 in 3rd District Guard and by 16May1918 attained rank of WOII D Coy District Guard; 30Nov1919 WOI Aust Gen Hosp; Disch.02Jul1919 as Medically Unfit.
