PONTOS, Amisos, (c.400-350 B.C.), silver drachm, (5.49 grams), obv. head of Hera to left, wearing ornamented stephanos, hair rolled, rev. owl standing facing on shield, wings spread, helmet to left, **L* to right, traces of **PEIRA* in exergue, (cf.S.3633, Waddington [Sup.E,15], SNG Cop.121). Deep test cut across face, otherwise toned, very fine and scarce.
