SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 207 (3.35 gm), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around SEVERVS PIVS AVG, rev. around RESTITVTOR VRBIS, Roma seated left, holding palladium and sceptre with shield at side, (S.6358, RIC 288, RSC 606, BMC 221, 359). Toned with attractive blue highlights, extremely fine and scarce.
